Lesson Learned

Yesterday I was on campus until 9:30 

and that is when I saw the postcard winter wonderland.

Here' s the lesson:

Do not be leaping through the newly fallen, wet, snow 

and suddenly decide to stop 

(even if you suddenly realize you can now make a small snowman) 

because apparently wet snow makes things slick 

and you end up on your back cold, wet, and well . . .

laughing.

Ok so maybe you do want to do this once in your life 

as it makes for a great memory.

Advice for your when you do:

Have a close friend witness it so you can keep laughing. . . all night.

Hooray for mistakes and unexpected surprises that don't hurt . . . to bad.

A Finals Thought.

As I have been studying for finals I have started to think 

that I rely on the find function, 

you know CTRL + F to find any word in that document . . .

it's very frustrating when handtaken notes don't have it

and I can't find the one key word and the answer.

This was Yesterday.

You may ask what happened.
I will tell you . . .

These two,
Yup my best friend Tiff
and dear friend Kyle,
were sealed for time and all eternity.
(This temple is gorgeous)
I am SO happy that it's finally happened.

It was an amazing day
and their reception was super cute!

YES! I am caught up . . . I think.

This week I really needed to get away and just sit and think
this didn't really happen but I did get a little getaway
Thursday night when I should have been studying.
Anyway my roommate Alaura and I drove up to the dam
We went to second dam first and then freaked ourselves out
super fast we went to first dam.
Here we just enjoyed the noises
of the water, ducks, and each other's company.
We then took some pictures
and then with random turns went to River Heights
and took more pictures.
Here are the results.
It was good time,
AND my tests turned out ok afterall.
We found a dinosaur track - YES!

And this is seriously a favorite of mine.
I am not sure what my face is doing but I love
the overall look of this photo. Superb.
