LiFe

I have learned a lot lately.

One of the biggest things is that
Hindsight really is 20/20.

REALLY.
I have seen it so much as I reflect on how things have worked out in my life and I know I just need to keep walking.
I know my Heavenly Father has been watching me.
And He sets things in play that allow me to grow,
and He helps me find amazing people to be my friends,
and then He lets those friendships grow.
And when things change He has things set up for me to fall back on.

It really amazes me when I think about it.

And you know what else?

He'll always be there. And everything will always work out.

I have gone to SKULL (school) . . .

Wow.

Summer (mourning this a little) is over
and school (excited for this) has begun.
Wahoo!
I am super excited as I live with amazing girls,
My neighbors are great,
My friends are beyond amazing,
Cody and Shayna are in Logan,
Can you feel the happiness in the air.

I can tell it's gonna be a great semester.

Learning is Knowledge Acquired by Systematic Study

"One's mind, once stretched by a new idea,
never regains it's original dimensions."
- Oliver Wendall Holmes

I really like that quote.
And the title of this post is a definition of learning.
And I like that too.
I mean everything we do either is something we've learned already or gives us an opportunity to learn something new and I love it.

A new semester is right around the corner.
One of the two I have left.
With it comes new opportunities.
Excitement.
Happiness.
Anxiety.
Learning to do.
Goals to make and accomplish.
And you know what?

I am super ready for it all.

Do you ever just feel like this?
Just unhooking yourself from what you are doing
and take off?
I do.

Begin Again

Lately the hardest part of doing something is starting it. I'm not struggling with finishing things because I have not started anything. It's actually starting to be quite bothersome. But then I think about the time and sometimes the money that it would take to start something and well . . . then the motivation that was lacking already pretty much disappears completely.

You see . . .
I have had lots of ideas.
Thoughts on projects that I could entertain myself with,
that I WANT to do,
And that I can find joy in.

But then I have that lack of motivation . . .

*sigh*

And at this point in time I am not really sure how to fix it.
In the meantime here are some more cloud pictures.
And I guess I'll figure out a way to get started on at least
one of those fun projects . . .

Do you know who I love?

Ok so yesterday my co-workers created an engagement . . .
My own.
On facebook.
Lots of people believed it.
And I laughed a lot.

My favorite were the phone calls because I got to talk to people
that I haven't talked to in quite a while.
*Reminder Heidi* CALL people and visit.

Anyway I just wanted to share someone I really love with you.
Geri.
Here he is.
You can love him too if you want.

32/52

Michelle's last week as my roommate.
I guess it's a good thing we are such good friends
so we can still spend a ton of time together.
We celebrated her being done with school
and her getting to take a vacation
with delicious Olive Garden
And I got to watch Winnie the Pooh's Grand Adventure with her.
I love that movie and the funny jokes and messages it has.
*Only thing missing was Alaura, who was here in spirit.

Overcast Skies

Yesterday I walked out of work to this:
BEAUTIFUL if you ask me.
I'm so glad I had my camera.

Those Little Things Once Again

So this past weekend was a blast for me.
I stayed up later than I should have but I think it was worth it.
I also enjoyed the following.
Yup. Pillows. But not just them sitting there.
Within the past few days I have had several pillow fights.
LOVE.
Pillow talk, normal conversations,
late night conversations,
laughter-filled
conversations are all my favorite.

Remember when you were little?
And the big toy on the playground was a pirate ship?
I did that Monday . . . WITH people.
And before that look what we did.
Yup we received underdogs (underdoggies)
*Thanks Cyri
These are terrifying nowadays bytheway.
And had a jumping out of the swing competition.
(Some of ours really landed like he looks like he is going to).

I am telling you I have the BEST friends.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

In my search for those pictures I found these
and I love them too much not to include them.
This one inspired me a little details to come hopefully.

Oh! And I was also told this:
"A butterfly can never be appreciated
if it never comes out of it's cocoon."

I am working on that now.

Life = Large amounts of BLISS

OH! Sorry one last thing.
Sunday this man:
Yup! Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve
shook my hand and I got to hold the door
for him and his beautiful wife as they left church.

31/52

Hooray for waiting at the boat docks!

FaMiLy.

My family is my favorite thing ever.

I love July and this year it brought TWO family camp outs.

The first was a few weeks ago.
To Reservoir Lake.
We had a lot of really great times.
I think my favorites were swimming and star gazing.
Here are some photos of the bug infested, dirt filled fun.
Then last week we headed to Flaming Gorge
with the Savage tribe.

It was a different experience with motor boats and electricity
But still AMAZING.
We even caught some . . . fish. . . or crawdads.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa . . .
AND Janet for putting it all together!

Like I said. My favorite thing ever.

*my camera wasn't the main one for either trip sadly.

30/52

A couple of weeks ago Michelle and I went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Savage and the house was filled with family. Happy. Then we picked Alaura up from work and went to Caspers with the bill on Grandpa! Yum!

Thanks! :)

I am in a blogging funk.

I just am not motivated to do it at the moment.

*sigh*

Don't worry I will update my last few trips

and the fun summer weeks that have passed.

I guess this post is really just to say that I am not entirely gone.

I am just too busy staying up late . . .or early depending,

and trying to become "social" once again.

Perhaps tomorrow will be the day.
