So . . . I have a lot to blog about
and also a Project 52 post but . . .
My camera is missing currently
somewhere in my apartment.
I will find it soon . . .
i hope.

And then I will update you on my life.
And I am sure you will love it.

Snowflakes that Stay on My Nose and Eyelashes

Today the snowflakes were gorgeous.
They actually made my day.
Well them plus my experiences with friends already today.
They were shaped gorgeous.
Here is a snapshot of one on Kendra's hood
that sadly had to be taken with a cell phone
(Oh how I wish I had had my camera)
(Also I tried to edit it but really it now looks
like it's under a microscope but you CAN see the outline).
Good times though!

Oh and the title of this post is from the song "My favorite things"
One day I will write my own song and post it here.
It'll be great!

Twilite Rain

Ok so the title is somewhat backwards
but on Friday I got to watch
Singing in the Rain with one of my best friends, Michelle.
I
WILL
LOVE
THAT
MOVIE
ALWAYS.

Quality right there.
The actors. The music. Ah-mazing!
I have been singing the songs ever since.

Then Saturday night I was privileged to hang out with this group
and watch Desert Star's production of Twilite,
which needless to say was hilarious.
Here is a "trailer"

It's about a boy who likes a girl who is obsessed with Twilight
So what else is there to do but to pretend he is a vampire
And then what can you do when a REAL vampire wants the girl?
Yeah it's great!
And if you're wondering about the green Jell-o in the trailer,
just know vampires do not like religious objects.

3/52

The other day my friend Jackie and I
decided to get a fh'zookie from Firehouse
just like we had tried to do over Christmas break wAlign Centerhen they were closed
(this does not work, in case you were wondering).

So we tried again.
This time I am pretty sure they were open.
We left at 8:30.
Then at the intersection of 3rd and Main
her card stopped, dead.
We called her friend Mike
(who was in my Man of La Mancha post . . . different story there)
and after some nice people helped us get the car off the road
He rescued us.
But we decided we still wanted a treat
Firehouse was NOW closed.
So we went to Coldstone.
Her friend Derek joined us.
This was SUPER because I saw my friend Andra.
Good adventure I think.
And one day . . . . we WILL get that fh'zookie.

Pondering

ponder: to consider something deeply and thoroughly

I was reading the Book of Mormon the other day and came across 1 Nephi 11:1.
You can look it up but Nephi is wanting to know
for himself what his father told him of the tree of life
and the Spirit showed things unto him.
However I had another message pop out at me with it.
I'll take parts and put it in my own words.

Believing the Lord was able to make it known unto me,
I sat pondering in my heart
and was caught away in the spirit of the Lord
and many many things were revealed.

So what am I going to do?
Sit and just ponder.
Believe answers will come,
whenever I need them.

Frosted Trees and Tacos

Last Friday some friends and I had a run to the store for a few things . . . including stuff for strawberry shortcake! YUM!
Then Saturday I got to go home with my friends Erika.
It was frosty in Logan again,
so we stopped to take pictures.
The weekend was amazing at home.
I L-O-V-E my family.
Both those picture are back at Easter last year . . .
if you didn't notice check out my hair.
OH! And my mom cut it again when I was home! :)
She's amazing.

The ride back was super. I love my friends.
Together Erika and I picked up Taco Time in McCammon
and due to her superb ordering skills,
we ate about 1 lbs of hamburger between the two of us.
AND the lights on the ordering board were out. :)
We had some great conversations
AND saw an owl carry some small animal (rabbit?)
off to eat it . . .
I tried to get a picture but my camera didn't like the dark.

2/52

So these are my roommates this semester.
There was a lot of chaos in getting it all figured out.
But there we all are.
Alaura, Amy, Makda, and me! :)
And this one is just great, don't ya think?
After we took these pictures we headed up to campus to see
Joseph Smith The Prophet of the Restoration
It's the film they play in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in
Salt Lake City*,
and the institute got permission to show it here at USU.
It was phenomenal as it was the first time I saw it.
*now available on the D&C collection of DVD's

First day of school!

Hooray! That is today.
At least I will try and sound excited
as I am but I am not.
Hmmm odd. I am ready to learn again though!
Here is how I could maybe be feeling.

Also I saw this movie Friday
with Ashley, Kendra and her friends Taya and Ashley,
and we even managed to bring Brandan along.
It was SO cute.
And the best part . . . a romantic comedy chick flick rated PG.
If you haven't seen the trailer you can here
BUT I also think it gives away a lot.
Not that it isn't already a predictable chick flick but
oh man it was GREAT!

Oh and anyone I said I would watch it with that didn't go . . .
we definitely still are going! :)

The Weeks Come and Go

This week before school starts again has been a good one.
I have done a lot of fun things AND it's not over yet!
Here are the things I was able to capture in photos.
Oh look! Cody and me.
Amberly, Shayna, and I in the car on our way to Utah.
On the way across the desert my dad started a snowman.
It was actually kind of cool. We lost it in Blackfoot though.
Cyri captured me and took me out to ice cream to
celebrate my birthday. I will never object to being kidnapped by her
especially when it involves ice cream.
I got to witness this great sword fight last night
between my friends Scott, Amy, and Sam.
Enjoyable.
And this is my friend Kendra and I.
(sadly this picture was not taken this week but back in the summertime.)
But she has been living with me this week and I love it.
She is one of my best friends of my life. :)

1/52

So as I mentioned at the first of the year i was going to incorporate Project 52 into my blog where I show the people in my life and things we do together at least once EVERY week. Yup. This week I have done a lot but I am choosing this memory.

Tuesday my friends Bethany and Kendra went with me to Taco Tuesday at Cafe Rio - YUM! delicious. I met up with my friends Noah and Morgan too. However after Taco Tuesday we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. which I love. Here we are! :)
We were also joined by Brandan, Scott, Adrienne,
and Matt but they weren't around for the picture.

Ugglumah

Yup even just after that last post
and how today has been
that's how I feel right now. . .
Just like that word sounds.

All the Necessary Talents

I really have so much to blog about but don't have a way to upload pictures so it will have to wait until tomorrow. However I do want to say this. I was reading the Ensign on Sunday and in President Uchtdof's article he said:

"You have a celestial pedigree
and therefore have all the necessary
talents to make your life
an eternal success story."

I love it!

01-01-10

I feel as though I messed up that last 10 but had it been 01-01-01 again I think I might freak out.
2009 was a good year.
I am excited for 2010.
I don't know what ups and downs await me but bring them on.
I am ready!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Oh I think that this year I might just try something
my aunt Heather did it last year.
It's called Project 52.
Every week you take a picture of you with those in your life
for her it was with her family
for me I think i will do it with friends,
so friends be prepared for your photograph to be taken with me! :)
