Christmas Morning

Here are some pictures of Christmas morning
This one is actually from the night before - Cody left some jeans he had just bought in the livingroom all day so guess what? Amberly and I wrapped them for him and put them under the tree - he didn't think it was as funny as we did.
Shayna was our main photographer for the morning.
Oh happy Cody.
Adam was also quite happy as we recieved a plethora of NERF guns and accessories.
Cody even kind of got dead.
mom and Dad enjoyed the view from the other side of the room.
Among my many gifts Shayna got me some crayola kids paints and large pieces of paper for stress relieving fun.
Oh look at our fun mess. :)
Then we went across the desert and spent the day with family. I was able to snap these two pictures before my camera died.
A group of Hooligans in the livingroom - it's so weird we ALL used to fit in there WITH presents and our parents. . . wow.

Shayna and Heather doing something photography-wise.

One Finger Older

Yup I am now 21.
I am glad Shayna is on her cake decorating kick as she made me this fun cake.
This is me slicing the cake
Yum! It was Bonnie Butter Cake with Rhubarb in the middle.
Here is a piece of Shayna's Candyland cake from back in November.

Merry Christmas

After I posted my Christmas post my aunt showed me this.
I really this it's very good so I hope you enjoy.

CHRISTmas

Today is Christmas Eve and I hope you can all feel the spirit of the season and the spirit of Christ. It's been hard this year for some reason but since I am home it definitely feels much more like Christmastime. I am almost done with reading this again (and will be done by tomorrow):
I don't know how many times I have read it but it's my favorite and really if you haven't read it for a while you should. Everyday it's amazing and I learn something new or something hits me harder than it did before. I LOVE this book!

And I get to celebrate this.
The best gift to the world EVER and the best gift to me ever. I am so grateful. And I truly love Mary and Joseph for all that they did and helped with. And I love Christ beyond words.

And I get to do all this with my family. And want to wish all of them and all of you a very Merry Christmas. Remember the reason for the celebration. And thanks for all the gifts you have given to me this year: your love, your time, your friendship, you examples, and so much more.
THANKS!

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

So I have had an old window for almost a year to decorate with vinyl lettering and hang in my house but have not done it.
Today I finally asked my aunt where she gets her lettering from and she said her friend does it here.
I LOVE it!
There are so many good sayings and I wish I had the time, money, and ambition to just do a bunch of the things they have pictures of.
Going through the pictures of projects I found this and wanted to share it.
Also I think it's good because of the season. I tragically feel it is not that close to Christmas and it makes me sad when people say it's three days aware and really I am SO unaware of that fact. I guess I will work on that better.
Oh and I will let you see my final project when it DOES get done.

Clementines and Dilemnas

First off that word is weird.
Second off I really don't like things that are
considered that word.
I currently am in several -
one which I am still quite unsure what to do
and the other which I am picking to go with the flow on.
*sigh*
At least I can snack on some clementines while
I debate in my mind.

Moose and Moosen

I have literally started writing several blog posts and then just not thought they were what I wanted to write. Hmm. So I will try to get something up today(I wrote this the other day ha ha).

So really I have the best life! Look at the people in it and the things I get to do!
(Oh and finals week i accomplished ALL my fun)
When I went to Hamilton's I HAD to take a picture of the salad simply because the crouton was huge! (Sadly I did not take a picture of my steak OR creme brulee)
Michelle and I - Our hard finals we D-O-N-E and we were just partying! Also I did quite well in all my classes and am quite proud of myself! :)
This is Jackie. We are friends.
Sometimes we go by Jekyll and Hyde and she REALLY likes that she gets to be the nice one.
Kendra and Ashley warrior painted and ready to fight. All I know is that I am super happy my camera caught this real reaction to Kendra's unexpected move!
I L-O-V-E this picture although I like it better when it's rotated . . . for some reason blogger is not cooperating on that . . . hmm. There is Ashley, Kendra, and Jackie from the night we made cookies, pizza, watched Scarlet Pimpernel and had Oh so much fuN!

MY Finals Week Fall 2009

I am actually planning on this week being one of the best weeks of the semester! I took my physics final yesterday morning and found out last night that I did quite well and I am more than pleased with the results. I have two more that I am not really all that worried for. Today is kind of just a lounge, study, play day. Tomorrow I take my O-chem one and then I get to go to lunch with my friend Celeste who is getting married on Saturday! :)
Then I want to have a hot chocolate date with my friend Katie that night - although I have not even seen if that is possible yet (If all else fails I will go with my roommates and watch them clean the sink).
Thursday I am not planning on doing much hard things. I work all day BUT then my friend Michelle and I are going to Hamilton's for steak
and then watching this:
I am SO excited.

Then Friday I am going to see "The Princess and the Frog" (unless something hugely unexpected gets in my way) with people I love! :) AND THEN the clincher I get to go to North Ogden and see:
Yup Tiffany and Kyle! So EXCITED!

Also then I work for a while playing with friends I haven't seen a whole lot of this semester for a week or so then it's HOME to Christmas and THEM:

I was just thinking . . .

About a girl I know.
Who could have been a close friend but isn't.
We met in my very first class at USU ever
and we had potential to hang out more
and we see each other sometimes on campus.
She is one happy person
BUT I was just thinking about what might be different
if I had become good friends with her based on what I have seen this year
(she is not in anyway bad just different)
What would I be like if she were close to me?
This got me thinking about how
I AM SO LUCKY (really BLESSED)
to have had the people I have had in my life
who helped make me who I am today.

I quite like me, so thank you.

Of Leaves and Hills. . .

Remember the time I rolled down a hill and played in the leaves. Here are some pictures.
Amy Alaura and I at the bottom of the hill . . . Alaura didn't keep her eyes open so she didn't stop before she found me.
Amy and I after out leaf pile excursion.

Then there was the cake!
Here are Shayna and Amberly enjoying it.
I have more but they got left at home so stay tuned for either an update on this post or a completely new one. :)

D-O-N-E

Today at 2:00 I walked out of class 20 minutes early and at that moment as far as attending classes goes - I am DONE for the semester. All I am saying now is bring on the finals which will look something like this:
Physics:
Organic Chemistry:
Culinary Basics:
Yup that's all standing between me and a month to do whatever I want - and I am ready. :)
