Thanksgiving Where Dreams Come True: More of the Story

No! I wasn't going to stop there! There were still a whole bunch more days and parks to visit! :D As I said we ate Thanksgiving dinner in EPCOT and afterward watched the show "Illuminations." It is music, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and lasers! GORGEOUS and AWESOME! :D It blows my mind away the things that were happening in this place! :D I often found myself thinking, "I can't believe I am really here!" So cool. So fun!

Saturday morning we spent time at Hollywood Studios. We did the Star Wars ride for my little brother and that made me a little off no illnesses or anything . . . and different than the Everest at Animal Kingdom made me feel which was very weird through the back of the head and neck. Yeah. After that we went through Hollywood video history ride and then found Prince Caspian! He happened to be the only Prince around (we later found Aladdin) and he was quite charming. They did very very well with him. He was friendly and the accent was done well and he was just fun to visit with! :D Then we went to an Extreme Stunt show where they ruined some of Hollywood's coolest secrets from action movies . . . but while ruining it, it was pretty darn cool. My mom and Amberly didn't go to that and when we got out we found that they had won fast past tickets to all the rides for anytime while standing in line for Mickey. We didn't really want to spend much more time in Hollywood Studios so we gave them away after they used the ones they wanted to (Little Mermaid). They won because it is the year of a Million Dreams down there in Florida, which is really cool. (I hope all that makes sense.)

We had spent Friday afternoon in Magic Kingdom and then spent the night in EPCOT where we went to Finding Nemo . . . Turtle Talk with Crush was amazingly fun! :D We went back to Magic Kingdom Saturday night for the parade and fireworks as well as Story time with Belle and the Disney Dreams Come True show. I love Walt Disney World, can I just say that? Walt Disney truly was an inspired man.

While looking at these pictures and writing the stories I am a little mixed up and confusing I am sure . . . and I still have MORE pictures and stories . . . when I can get a hold of them, you best be ready! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and break however you spent it. I hope all of us got to see our family and friends because that is really what makes the best memories, I know for me that's what made mine! :D

Oh! And on the plane ride home the sky was so beautiful! We took off at sunset and then flew between two layers of clouds for a while. So gorgeous to see the clouds below soft and blanket like and then the ones above just like the sky up close! Right before we landed the moon was shining on the clouds below and it was breathtaking . . . I guess when I think about it, that made the 4 hour plane ride worth it (I don't know why the 4 hours was so hard . . . I have been on longer ones but that plane ride was killer!)

Thanksgiving Where Dreams Come True

So this year the day before Thanksgiving was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and my grandpa decided that he wanted to spend it with his family in the most magical place on Earth . . . Walt Disney World, so he took us. The picture above is of them in our Norway banquet hall in EPCOT for Thanksgiving dinner. We took a lot of pictures, but I don't have access to them now as they are at home. So here is a few that I have and some of my experiences, no memories that go with them (perhaps more will be surfacing throughout the next few months. We'll see). :D

Our first full day was spent in Animal Kingdom . . . this was Thursday and Thanksgiving! We hit the Kilimanjaro Safari and Everest! :D So So So much fun! We also walked around the park and saw the animals they had there. We were accompanied by my aunt Heather, Uncle Roy, and their girls Chantel, Hailey, Raquel, and Cherakie! Loved spending the day with them. When we hopped in line for Everest we ended up running into my Aunt Lita and Uncle Kent and some of their posse, Victor, Olivia, and MariAmanda! On the Safari we got to see all sorts of animals and our guide was quite entertaining. We saw a giraffe, lions, monkeys, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, rhinos like the one in the picture below, and many many more. We also were involved in traffic due to the ostrich that decided to walk down the road in front of our jeep!

After the Safari we hit Everest Expedition! This is a HUGE rollercoaster that goes up AND down the large mountain you can see behind us. I don't know who builds these things but they are sweet! It went backwards, forwards, up, DOWN and I mean really down. The pictures taken in the tunnel were hilarious! It had dark tunnels and a Yeti. So much fun!


This was actually taken the second time we went to Animal Kingdom (which was Friday because we had missing Bug's Life ride the day before) . . . with a last name like ours how could we not take the opportunity to get a picture with Ratcliffe?

This is the Bug's Life which we returned to Animal Kingdom to experience . . .well you can't see it because it is inside this big tree. The ride is like the one in Disneyland so some of you may have experienced it with acid spraying you, bugs exploding before your eyes, and getting stung by hornets. The sensations we sweet, at the end you could even feel the bugs crawling under your seat to leave the room. YUCK!

The second day we also hit The Festival of the Lion King which while on our way to we ran into Flik and when line is not long . . . you take a picture so we did! :D

Falling Behind and my weekend at Far Far Away

So I have fallen way super far behind on this here blog! Oops . . . it's kind of like my journal and one day I end up catching up on two weeks of things! Bad deal. So I am going to post a few today and probably pictures upon pictures for everyone to see.

Saturday November 15th my best friend Stephanie was baptized! It was such a good day and we were all so happy including her. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and know it's true and brings blessings and so there is a lot of happiness and joy for me to see her find the truth as well! :D That weekend I was able to visit with friends and family who all came to Far Far Away (which is what my family decided to name our home).

Sunday my mom's side came out for dinner and I loved it! I truly have the best family and I am sure others would disagree but I don't think that there is a better one out there. All my cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, mom and dad are the BEST and I love them all! :D

So overall that weekend was amazing. Then I headed back to Logan to school for a week and two days and then THANKSGIVING WAS HERE! See blog above! :D

I love my weekends!

So Friday night I got a text from Katie and then a phone call (after I told her I had nothing going on that night). She asked if I wanted to go to a Singing in the Rain play with her and Bethany. Heck yes I did! So off we went. It was amazing! The actors/actresses/crew/orchestra (yup there was a live one) were so amazing . . . man I wish my high school's play had been that cool . . . anyway so then we went and got some treats at a "local diner" (as Katie put it). Here are some pictures I took from her blog (figured it was ok because well, I am in most of them!)

Oh and then Saturday . . . I went to the temple bright and early with my roommates and did baptisms! :D Then I went to work, decorated my room, went to stake conference Saturday session, and watched "She's the Man" with friends! (I love friends don't you?) I also love being productive while not feeling overwhelmed! Thanks all for being so great! :D

It's the end of the world as we know it . . .and I feel fine . . . I feel fine!

So Obama is our new president . . . what can we do? I guess just sit back and hope. However I will say that I know everything is going to be ok. Just for kicks and giggles or for truth this is kind of where I am at right now (although the fine does have a little fear in there too).



Oh and yesterday I was walking home and Logan was gorgeous! The lighting, the clouds, the mountains! I loved it and it just put in perspective that we are watched over and blessed . . . so I feel fine! :D

The EXTREME

So last night my friend Chris stopped by the apartment with a Tickle-Me-Elmo Extreme or something . . . I was laughing so hard, it is seriously like my favorite toy in the whole world! So this morning I wanted to share it will everyone . . . and apparently so did someone on youtube. :D However this is not as good as real like but it still is pretty good! :D Enjoy! :D

Making Babies

So today at work Emily showed me this makemebabies.com and so I of course went to make me some. In the process I saw Zac Efron and David Beckham . . . two of my friends' favorite celebrities . . . so Whitney and Katie here are your dear babies . . . of course other pictures may have allowed slightly different looking babies but aren't they so CUTE?!?!?! :D

P.S. If you can't guess whose is whose by the pictures below the babies . . . too bad.

Fall Break

Well first off I was walking around campus yesterday and noticed that a lot of the trees are missing their leaves . . . I then realized that I haven't really even noticed that the leaves have change colors! AGHH! What have I been doing?!?!?

Anyway so last week was Fall Break, my mom drove down and picked me up and then took me to Idaho Falls to get some of my appointments out of the way . . . I am still, after almost 20 years, cavity FREE! :D I also picked up some more contacts as the only pair I had left had been in my eye when I received a sty in my eye. :P (that was just a fantastic week let me tell ya but it was better by this point). Then I went home. I, of course, spent most of the break just loungin' and hanging out. Friday I went and took my phone in for evaluation . .. turns out just a spring is loose so they just sent it in. The ladies that work in that office are hilarious and I love them to death. Then I went up to my best friend Stephanie's house and hung out with her and her parents and had THE BEST CAKE EVER (It is that better-than cake doctored by Cathy, Mmmm)! Following that it was Butte County High School's Homecoming so Steph and I went to that. Then we hung out until the game. At the game, my friends from high school showed up! So it was fun to get to see and hang out with them.
Once the game was over there was the bonfire! So Stephanie and I headed over to that with Tate, Shayna, Amanda, Brock, and Jordan . . . so much fun! Here are a couple more pictures. . .

The rest of the weekend was just fun, we have movie marathons and cooking fun and I just LOVED it . . . I didn't want to come back to Logan! :/ Oh and Saturday my little sister went to Homecoming . . .I helped her get ready a little and she just looked GORGEOUS! So leaving was hard . . . just all those mixed emotions! :D I hope you all had just as great of a break as I did! :DI figured my little brother could be shown somewhere in the pictures because he pretty much is hilarious and had a lot to do with my weekend thinking he could beat me at pretty much anything as young teenage boys do . . . I totally won in arm wrestling! :D

So for the past week or so my friends Natalie and Ian and I wanted to go repelling. We have had several times go by and last night we finally got the group together and went. While packing up and heading out we ran into my old roommate Brittany and so she came along. We also picked up Ian's friend Mike. Oh my gosh it was so much fun! I love it . . . however it still does not give me the adrenaline rush I had always hoped it would (this was my second time). Ian, of course, had to get his Pick-on-Heidi time in and pulled the rope at the bottom tight so I could not longer go down and he swung me around for a minute. That was probably the most fun part as it is great to just be suspended. :D So pretty much it was super fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Hot Tubs and Christmas Music

First off I do I want to say that I KNOW it is only October . . . hello October is one of the best months ever (besides the face that the cold starts sneaking in). Anyway though Monday night after FHE my roommates, Kendra, Kristi, Ashley, Tiff, and I all went out to the hot tub. We had brought Christmas up earlier in the day and with that came Christmas Music . . . so we brought along Tiff's cd player and a Christmas cd and sat in the hot tub while the music played . . . we got some people walking by that loved us and other that were thinking we were confused and even a Mr. Scrouge/Grinch kind of guy. All in all it was super fun! :D

Last night I also played in the pool and hot tub, this time with my friend Natalie. After wards we put post-its on our friend Ian's car to tink him . . . tink: the sound a pebble makes when hitting a window (The post-its had TINK written on them). I don't know his reaction to having post-its all over his windshields but we included an "I Love You" to hopefully keep him lighthearted.

Wondrous Weekend

Well this past weekend was a good one. My best friend Stephanie came up from Pocatello and stayed with me. Friday night we sang some sing star and watched phenomenon along with finding my oh so needed new tennis shoes! :D Hooray!

Saturday I had to work 7 hours in the morning . . . Alisa rescued me 15 minutes early. I went home with Steph and we ate some lunch then went and watched my cousin Daniel in the marching band competition at the stadium . . . man, I LOVE marching bands, especially the drums that sound all cool! Wow! :D

Yeah he doesn't look much like a band member in my opinion but whatever. (P.S. This was not at the competition)

Then we just played the rest of the weekend. Rollo Cookies, Rock Star, Beauty and the Beast, Church, RS broadcast, Enchanted, Laughter, and pictures.

My mom was not so thrilled about this as she told me never to kiss the frog . . . and I did! Just FYI I am still princeless even after kissing this frog.

Oh this is my friend Natalie whom I love. This picture was taken at my other friend Whitney's birthday party! :D Hooray for birthdays! But I wanted to tell the story of my lot flip-flop on here . . .the other day Natalie and I were walking and talking and we decided to sit down by the canal. While talking I suddenly felt something hit the side of my leg. I went "Oh! What was that." After looking for a minute I decided it was something without consequence. Then Natalie went, "Look a mouse." My eyes literally got super wide as I said "That hit me in the leg!" :D Natalie looked at me and said, "Well I am getting up." I agreed and as I was pulling my foot through the railing, my flip-flop heel hit the side of the bridge wall and plop it just joined the mouse in the water. I raced to go and get it but decided not to get wet . . . after all it was one piece of a $3 flip flops and so I didn't care. So yeah someone found a nice pink flip flop and perhaps saw the mouse a little while down the canal. Good times!

This Week . . .

Well to tell you all the truth this last week has been so awful! I have been so super stressed about so many things . . . it has been no fun at all. Well last night I resolved the biggest stressor for me and so I feel MUCH better! Wahoo!

Yesterday I also came across Taylor Swift's new song "Love Story" and I LOVE it! :D The music video is on youtube and many a times I wonder how much this girl spends on her music videos . .. but it is way good so if you feel like it, check it out!

A Good Few Days

Wow the last few days have just been really good! Thursday the 11th I went to class and work and then got to go and hang out with my dear friend Natalie! :D We just walked around and talked AND got Coldstone . . .how much better can it get. I love just being! I was able to just relax and be crazy and everything we did was spontaneous and enjoyable! :D We spent the last little while of our night just laying on the church lawn and talking. I love talking! Then we went back to her house for a little bit longer and I got to see Katie and Whitney . . . man that was a good night!

Then yesterday dear sweet Friday was National Chocolate Milkshake Day, so of course I had to go and celebrate! Once again it was with Natalie! :D We walked to the mall, had a milkshake, and once again talked. Then we checked out Claires. Once we were back at my apartment I got ready for my outing and she received a text from her dad. It was the BEST, it was just a voice saying "let me out, I'm stuck in your pocket!" Yeah great. I walked Natalie home so I could "wake up" and she would not fall asleep on her way (yeah we were tired). Then I headed up to Grace Idaho with my friend Cyri to watch her brother play football (yes I went to a random high school football game in small town Idaho and yes I thought it was fun). So here is a little bit of a piece of National Chocolate Milkshake Day . . . . if you missed it ya know! ;)

Back to School . . . One Week Down!

So yesterday my friend Katie let me know that she was no so happy with my lack of blogging lately so I decided that I would do it today while working (instead of reading for class . . . man I am good at putting that off!). So so far there has been a week of school (I have not attended classes yet today but still). I have arranged and rearranged my schedule and then freaked out because it's a mess and then got better because that's what bad things do right? So at this time I am taking, Nutrtion and Food Science, Humanities, Family Finance, Medical Terminology, and hopefully I will make it back into speech . . . yeah I ditched O-Chem and Stats but oh well! :D

Last night before studying at a park my roommate Tiff and I and her brother Kenny went to the DI! While there we found a book, it was dumb/funny but the title will get me through and I needed a picture for this post so there we go! :D

Little Trucks

So this past Tuesday my roommate Stephanie along with some of the boys went to Minnetonka (reminds me of little trucks . . . aww the good ole days) Cave up by Bear Lake. It was actually very fun and then we went and had lunch by a creek(which was so pretty and the only bad thing was the nasty bugs which I already have a bunch of bites from). Memories Formed Daily

So last week my best friend Stephanie came up accompanied by my other friend Ashley. It was so much fun! I love those girls! We got to travel to Provo one day to see our friend Amanda who had undergone brain surgery (to shrink it). That was a good experience, I still don't know if she remembers we were there but considering she forgot she had seen Ash and Steph ten minutes after she had pretty sure she has no idea. We did get some fun stories out of it though.

During the week we did some pretty fun stuff. Here are some pictures to prove it:

This is us tubing behind my Grandpa's boat! Wahoo! During this ride . . . Steph fell off! Later in the day we bent the metal hook (I can't spell the work carabiner) and therefore were done. Before that I pulled some pretty sweet moves on the tube with my cousin Mandy . . . pretty much I was flying off the tube and BAM the tube was still under me . . . what can I say it's talent! My lovely friends back on board the boat DID captured it on video and one day you will be able to see it!
Yes we all know we are amazing . . . that is why we are such great friends!
